List a Project

About

This database is designed for Tulane School of Medicine medical students who are interested in getting involved in research. It can assist medical students in identifying their interests, finding suitable research projects, and matching them with mentors within our research community. Using the search function, students may search, view, and apply for research opportunities with faculty across the downtown campus. Faculty interested in finding medical students to assist in their project may use the “list a project” tab to add their project to the database.

Tulane University School of Medicine encourages and supports medical student participation in research and scholarly activities. Investigative research not only fosters the skills of life-long learning essential to the practice of contemporary medicine but also helps enhance the critical reasoning skills needed to develop into a responsible physician. Additionally, demonstrated research skills are valued in the field of medicine and may be additive when applying for residency positions.
