Our research focuses on the role of the gut microbiome in various conditions, including alcohol-associated liver disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, liver fibrosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and colon and liver cancers. Additionally, we explore the therapeutic potential of cannabidiol in treating liver diseases and neurological disorders. A key area of interest is the development of probiotic-based therapeutic strategies to combat these diseases.
