The Mayor of New Orleans has approved a 10-month universal basic income (UBI) Pilot that gives $350 per month to 125 Opportunity Youth individuals receiving services at non-profit and community-based organization in New Orleans. Tulane University School of Social Work is partnered to conduct a qualitative outcome evaluation of the pilot’s implementation and impact.

Conduct up to 25, 2-hour long (max) semi-structured interview via Zoom
Skills required
Conducting qualitative interviews; cultural humility and responsiveness; fluent in Spanish preferred but not required
Who is eligible
Junior or senior undergraduates in any major; graduate students in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or Sociology
