Project Description

Our research focuses on the mechanisms of liver injury caused by liver diseases or hepatotoxicity. It includes basic and translational studies on alcohol-associated liver disease (ALD), environmental hepatotoxicity, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). This project aims to elucidate the mechanisms and roles of bile acid-mediated cell death in the progression of ALD, particularly alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH).
